那是隱隱的不安與弔詭的日常。
在《喚》(Awakening)互動裝置作品中，人失去科技產物「操控者」的身份，影像與機械自相產生影響，而觀者僅止於純粹接收的存在。
《喚》(Awakening)為現地製作的作品，將建築落地窗外的景物運用3D掃描取得模型，並在建築空間內部裝置一個iPad，以AR的方式將原先掃描的模型，等比例疊加在現實空間同樣的物件上，並讓螢幕即時顯示著窗外的影像；而觀眾也會看到落地玻璃窗外的左上方，有著類似於鹿角或樹枝的有機形體的機械敲擊著玻璃窗，伴隨聽到撞擊與摩擦玻璃窗的聲音，讓建築空間內產生共鳴。在經驗這些的當下，會讓人感受到隱性的反抗、提醒及傳遞某種訊息，甚至是求救的信號。而我並沒有依循一般AR的互動方式，讓觀眾去移動iPad來製造AR的互動，而是藉由裝置在玻璃窗外的機械裝置結合連動，當機械敲到玻璃窗時會發送藍芽訊號，制約式的使AR內的影像同時產生干預，而在未敲擊時，會無法確定影像中哪些是現實或虛擬空間的畫面，直到玻璃被敲擊的瞬間，AR的影像會脆化的消散，與現實影像產生混沌般的融合，並再次復原。

The project Awakening was made on site, and 3D scanning was used to obtain a model of the scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling window of the building. Inside the building, a tablet was installed. Augmented reality (AR) was used to overlay the originally scanned 3D model in equal proportions onto the same scene in the actual space, and the screen displayed the image outside the window in real time.
At the same time, the audience will see and hear a mechanical device that has an organic form similar to a tree branch, thudding against the upper left corner of the floor-to-ceiling window. This device causes resonance and vibrations in the architectural space, making the scene feel uneasy, seeming to remind or send some sort of signal.
In this project, I did not follow the usual AR interaction method and let the audience move the iPad. Instead, I let the 2 devices interact through technology. When the mechanical device thuds against the window, a Bluetooth signal is triggered, simultaneously disturbing the image in the AR. When the AR is not disturbed by a signal, the audience will be unable to determine which images on the screen are real or virtual. The virtual image will only become abnormal when the glass is tapped and the AR receives an interfering signal. It will also chaotically merge with images in reality, and at this moment, the audience will realize their previous misjudgments, and notice the unusual aspects of daily life.
